Kendall Rucks, is an artist to watch. From her mature and spectacular vocals to her haunting and
poetic lyrics, she’s at the precipice of one exciting ride. Like many, Kendall began singing at a young
age and at 12 came to the attention of legendary voice coach Ron Anderson who remains her coach
and friend. Hailing from Stuart, Florida, she moved to LA at 14 in order to pursue her career as a
singer and actress. Often called an “old soul” Kendall graduated High School at 16 and has been
writing and recording her own music ever since. She recently signed an international license deal for
her first original “School’s Out” which was a huge hit on Reverbnation and won her a Crowd Review
Featured Artist spot as well as numerous other accolades including being the youngest songwriter to
ever be featured on Songwriting Stars. She has multiple songs in various stages of development two
of which are being produced produced/mixed by Alex Houton and 5x Grammy winner, Brian Vibberts
for AHM Media and Spotlight 87 Entertainment. With lyrics such as “I would skin the sun to shed a
little light and love if that’s what you need” and “I bite when I love”, her lyrical imagination is without
restraints. “For so long, my sound and my music hasn’t matched my age and now, at 17, I’m finally
able to really express myself and pursue the vocal style that I want to create – Music that is funky and
thought provoking and has soul – I wanna make something that lasts and will be listened to 30 years
from now – THAT is good music.” Inspired by Lana Del Rey, Elle King, Fiona Apple, Amy Winehouse,
Cat Power and others, Kendall is looking forward to whatever the future may hold.
