Mike Lane is a 30-year entertainment industry veteran who has held key positions at trade publication Radio and Records, and artist management/entertainment consulting firm The Left Bank Organization. He is currently a partner at 4 Entertainment, an international business & marketing strategy firm and artist management company.
Lane has developed innovative marketing concepts for major and independent music labels, musical artists, entertainment retail outlets, film studios, technology companies, entertainment magazines, and trade papers. Music initiatives have included artists such as Blondie, Motley Crue, the Go Go’s, Heart, Yes, The Cranberries, and the Bee Gees. He has spearheaded some of the first successful entertainment-related digital marketing campaigns – including the first “Internet-only” concert ticket sales (the Cranberries), which sold out nationally, and became a key online marketing strategy for

Lane holds a B.A. in Political Science, UC Berkeley. He was an advisor to the launch of the Entrepreneur MBA program at Azusa Pacific University; has been a Guest Lecturer for MBA courses at UCLA, USC, UC Berkeley, and The Academy of National Economy under Government of the Russian Federation (Moscow); and was featured in the PBS broadcast of “Introduction to Marketing: Competing in the 21st Century.
